Memoir

An invitation to reconnect to & honor your story

Our stories matter.

So whether you take the process seriously - as a transformative exercise - or simply embrace it as a means to organize and cull your boxes of photos and mementos - join me!

Our "Why" comes from the title of the Epilogue of "It's Never Too Late":

Here, at the end..., it is my hope that in finishing the work, you have found yourself to be larger and more colorful than you had imagined. I hope you have reconnected to your own story and come to appreciate all that your unique journey has to offer those who you may touch. I hope that you have found an inner strength and source of energy that will propel you forward into you "second act" of life.

The “How” is with a commitment to explore and mine our past - incrementally - and outline our stories.

Using “Never Too Late to Begin Again” memoir tool and some historic and then current events for prompts, we’ll complete a ‘first draft’ - one week at a time - as we revisit the ordinary and extraordinary events that shaped our lives.

You might simply write out your reminiscences, collect photos, record a few thoughts on your phone - sketch/paint or create collages or your life and the times.

We all have the capacity to compose the story of our life and embrace the whole of it - or simply appear as a footnote in someone else’s.

It’s a creative, and remarkably energizing process.

Groups come together regularly - #DontGoItAlone
