Memoir

An invitation to reconnect to & honor your story

Our stories matter.

So whether you take the process seriously - as a transformative exercise - or simply embrace it as a means to organise and cull your boxes of photos and mementos - join me!

We begin mining our past - 5 years at a time - begin to outline our stories.

Using the Memoir tool for prompts, over the course of 9 - 12 Sundays - depending on your age - we’ll complete a ‘first draft’ - remembering each subsequent period weekly.

You might simply write out your reminiscences, collect photos, record a few thoughts on your phone - or sketch/paint or create collages or your life - or just the times.

We all have the capacity to compose the story of our life and embrace the whole of it - or simply appear as a footnote in someone else’s.

Your choice!

It’s a creative process - and remarkably, it’s energizing.

Let’s do this.

Groups form on a rolling basis when 5 or more individuals or a family group are ready to start.

Our "Why" comes from the title of the Epilogue of "It's Never Too Late":

Here, at the end..., it is my hope that in finishing the work, you have found yourself to be larger and more colorful than you had imagined. I hope you have reconnected to your own story and come to appreciate all that your unique journey has to offer those who you may touch. I hope that you have found an innter strength and source of energy that will propel you forward into you "second act" of life.

In my work with groups who have completed this process - and individuals embarking on 'encore careers' - I can assure you that you will finish - more optimistic, energetic and enthusiastic than you can imagine.

In a word - resilient!
